Compact, Practical, and Cost-Effective: The RG-1X 1"–6" Version Enters Batch Production

Summary

The RG-1X roll groover is now produced in a compact 1"–6" version, covering the most common pipe sizes for on-site work. Lighter and more cost-effective, this configuration meets practical job-site needs and has entered batch production at Gruvmaster.

Compact, Practical, and Cost-Effective: The RG-1X 1
A new batch of RG-1X roll groovers is completing assembly and final inspection in the Gruvmaster workshop, preparing to enter the shipment stage. Compared with the standard 1"–8" configuration, this batch is produced in the more compact 1"–6" version, designed for the pipe sizes most commonly used on actual job sites.

For applications such as repair work, indoor installation, and fire-protection system upgrades, the 1"–6" range covers the majority of frequently used pipe diameters. Removing the 8" grooving components reduces machine weight and overall cost while improving portability—ideal for teams that need to move the machine frequently or operate in limited spaces.

The RG-1X is built on a modular platform. The main frame, drive system, and safety structure remain consistent across all versions. The difference lies only in the roller components, which Gruvmaster can add or remove based on customer needs. This design simplifies maintenance and improves spare-parts compatibility.

Inside the Gruvmaster factory, multiple assembly stations operate in parallel to handle these 1"–6" orders. From mechanical assembly and electrical wiring to full-machine testing, every step follows a standardized workflow to ensure stable and consistent quality across all units.
Gruvmaster will continue to provide roll-grooving solutions that better meet real job-site requirements. For more information about the RG-1X series and other models, please visit our official website.
