Large hydraulic butt fusion machines are suitable for intensive and large-diameter pipeline construction. However, for small and medium-diameter pipes, irrigation projects, repair work and locations with limited working space, a compact manual machine can provide a more practical solution.

Led by Mr. Pan Yan, founder of Welping, our team attended professional training on hot melt butt welding machines. The training covered three core modules: instructional operation videos, hands-on practical operation with actual equipment, and troubleshooting circuit faults for after-sales service. This training empowers all staff to master product know-how, deliver standardized operations and reliable technical support to global customers.

After five years, WELPING proudly returned to INTERSCHUTZ 2026 in Hannover, Germany. We showcased a wide range of pipe joining and fire protection solutions, connected with customers from around the world, and concluded the exhibition by selling our demonstration Butt Fusion Machine. The main structure of our new factory is now complete, marking a key milestone in its construction. The building is ready for interior finishing, equipment installation, and commissioning. Once operational, the facility will support large-scale and high-capacity butt fusion welding equipment production. Updates on the progress will be shared as the factory moves from construction to operation.

A test on 20Mn 16-inch steel pipe showed that while standard machines could complete grooving, efficiency dropped under load. The AG-4X significantly improved speed and stability, reducing processing time to about 2 minutes per joint. The case highlights the importance of matching equipment to high-strength materials and demanding working conditions.

Welping is exhibiting at the 138th Canton Fair, with its booth located on the ground floor. Welping is constructing a new manufacturing workshop to expand its production capacity for butt fusion welding machines and pipe fitting products. The new facility will support improved workflow organization and accommodate medium- and large-size equipment. The RG-1X roll groover is now produced in a compact 1"–6" version, covering the most common pipe sizes for on-site work. Lighter and more cost-effective, this configuration meets practical job-site needs and has entered batch production at Gruvmaster.

The WP40H extrusion welder reflects Welping’s pursuit of precision and reliability. Equipped with Swiss and German components, it delivers stable performance for PE and PP welding. Fifty units have completed final inspection and are ready for global shipment.
